The theme of this year’s Museum Night is anniversaries

200 years of the Archaeological Museum Split, founded in 1820, and 140 years of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, founded in 1880. If we mention that the year 2020 marks 184 years since the founding of the National Museum, 152 years since the founding of the Strossmayer Gallery of Old Masters, 142 years since the founding of the Natural History Museum, the theme is an opportunity for the Croatian museum workers to raise the awareness about the importance of the „museum past, present and future“.
